Privacy policy

BigBookPrices has no accounts, sign-in, newsletter, checkout, profiling, behavioural advertising or non-essential analytics. Railway may process ordinary infrastructure and security logs such as IP address, request time, user agent and error information to operate and protect the service.

Messages voluntarily sent to hello@bigbookprices.eu are processed through OVHcloud email so the operator can respond.

The delivery-country selector stores the selected country in localStorage under big-books-destination. It persists until cleared, stays on your device and is used only to display destination-aware shipping comparisons. The site does not set application cookies, use document.cookie, sessionStorage, analytics cookies or advertising pixels. No consent banner is needed for this technically necessary preference.

Book-cover images may be requested from image URLs supplied by retailer/catalogue records. Selecting a retailer link sends you to that independent retailer, which then applies its own privacy policy, cookies, checkout and processing rules. BigBookPrices does not add affiliate tracking to those links.

Railway hosts the web application and database. OVHcloud provides the project domain, DNS and email. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions, contact hello@bigbookprices.eu.

A weboldalnak nincs felhasználói fiókja, hírlevele, pénztárfunkciója, profilozása, viselkedési reklámja vagy nem szükséges analitikája. A célország beállítása kizárólag a böngésző localStorage tárhelyén, a big-books-destination kulcs alatt marad meg. Sütiket és reklám- vagy analitikai pixeleket nem használunk.
